Personality:
Raz is... well, Raz is quite the character, to be sure.
As if growing up with a family of Roma acrobats in the circus wasn't quirky enough of an origin story for him, the inclusion of his father being a psychic (with the rest of his family knowing it) certainly qualifies. Already removed from a regular upbringing, he's a little odd to most onlookers. His concept of normal is pretty different from other peoples', and he's prone to saying some interesting things ("Fire is pretty!").
It makes him something of a cloudcuckoolander, as he speaks his mind without too much of a filter-- he's not exactly subtle, but he is, at the very least, somewhat tactful. He won't say anything particularly bad unless the person in question deserves it, and even then he's mostly a deadpan snarker and it's easy for some people to miss it when it comes out. (Though, admittedly, if he gets fed up with something he can become a bit exasperated and something of a wiseass.) His sense of humor, though, is a little macabre (I mean, he sets birds and squirrels on fire and seems to delight in it), and he's not above pulling pranks. Even as a counselor, when he should be setting an example.
Even his cockiness is somewhat muted-- it's warranted, because he's pretty skilled in what he can do, having a natural talent for acrobatics and psychic skills, but he doesn't overly flaunt it in anyone's face. He'd much rather actually help them get better at whatever it is they're aspiring for, being someone that almost lives to help people. Cheerful, friendly, he can get along with most anyone (unless they're jerkoffs or bullies, in which case he'll give them a cold helping of their own medicine and a decent asskick). Overall, he's pretty patient.
With other people.
When it comes to himself, he looks before he leaps a lot (though thankfully tends to land on his feet) and will rush in head-first into situations if it means he can better himself or help another person. There's not much to stop him when he gets these ideas in his head, either. He's damn near headstrong, as if he's out to prove himself to someone.
Which, he still is, even after having mending his relationship with his father. He wants to show that he's earned his rank as the youngest Psychonaut in history, even years later. He's got this, and he's going to keep doing what he does best to prove it.
